Main Street and Beach Street may be the hubs of Biketoberfest® activities, but the Daytona Beach area features numerous opportunities for the perfect ride to get away from it all. In addition to the famous "loop," we've included several rides for you to experience.

State Parks

Take a ride and experience some of the great natural resources here in the greater Daytona Beach area - our state parks. This state park route will take you from Tomoka State Park, located on The Loop in Ormond Beach, to the west side of the county and DeLeon Spring State Park and southwest to Blue Springs in Orange City. Each park is beautiful and has its own unique offerings. To learn more about Florida's state parks visit www.floridastateparks.org.

The Loop
Daytona Beach scenery at its best

It's like no other ride. It's freedom, sunshine, open road and graceful curves. It's called the Loop and for motorcycle enthusiasts everywhere, it's a riders dream.

If you have never taken the Loop, we recommend it highly. This leisurely ride will give you a feel for Florida's natural beauty. Check out Ormond Park and the Fairchild Oak tree - one of Florida's oldest living Oaks. Bring your camera, maybe a boxed lunch, and enjoy. The Loop is approximately 22 miles long and a must for riders who enjoy an open road and Florida's natural beauty.

Ride To The Lighthouse
Take a scenic ride to Ponce Inlet to view the historic lighthouse.

Located at the southern-most tip of the Daytona Beach area is Ponce Inlet, a scenic fishing village with a very "Old Florida" charm. Here you'll find some of the area's best seafood restuarants and the 100-year old Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, which offers visitors a chance to climb to the top for a spectacular view of the area.

There are two North-South roads to get to Ponce Inlet. A1A, the main through-fare, takes you past some of the area's most beautiful houses. Pennisula Drive takes you alongside the Intracoastal Waterway. Those going to Down The Hatch or Sun Cruz Casino will take a quick ride on Beach Street and its overhanging trees.

The lighthouse at night is spectacular. However, we ask to you ride quiet through the town of Ponce Inlet.
DeLand and Deltona Area
Just west of the Daytona Beach area you'll find the historic Downtown DeLand, Deltona, and a cluster of small towns, natural springs and nature preserves. The area's three state parks, freshwater springs, national wildlife refuge and new Florida Scenic Highway designation offer endless outdoor activities and amazing encounters with nature. Click Here to go West!

New Smyrna Beach Area
A short drive south of the Daytona Beach area, the New Smyrna Beach area offers visitors the relaxing sands and sights of charming 'Old Florida.' Featuring historic architecture, art galleries, fishing excursions, shops and water views, the area has something for everyone.
